Scholarships Now Available for FICAM Students!

We are pleased to announce that, due to a recently received donation, two different types of scholarships are now available for FICAM students who are scheduled to pay full tuition and who have a financial difficulty in doing so.

1. FICAM MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

The FICAM Merit Scholarship is based first on merits of the applicant as they have demonstrated their commitment to their spiritual growth or to the community in providing some time of service.

Four candidates will receive this award in the amount of $7,500. The scholarship funds will be credited yearly as the final $2,500 in tuition payments.

Applications will be considered from those who:
1. Demonstrate their existing difficulty in affording tuition.
2. Agree to maintain the pace of the program throughout each year of study.  Upon completion of their competency of their first three semesters, the 4th semester will be paid for, in each of the three years of study.
3. Agree to contribute their services during in-house training periods, which could include preparation of classroom, running the FICAM.tv switchboard or other functions as directed by the FICAM staff.

*Failure to meet these above standards will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

 Applications must include:
1. The last two years  of tax returns
2. Personal Financial Statement
3. Essay explaining why you should be a recipient of the FICAM Merit Scholarship (no length requirement). Discuss the merits of your personal, community, and/or professional work.

 Application Deadline:
Candidates must submit application to the office no later than January 25, 2010.

2. FICAM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The FICAM Financial Hardship Scholarship is based on the student’s determination, commitment and purpose in becoming a FICAM practitioner, and will be awarded only to a student currently having difficulty in affording the costs of this program.

Four candidates will receive this award in the amount of $1,500. The scholarship funds will be credited as the final $1,500 in tuition payments.

Applications will be considered from those who:
1. Have existing financial inability to fully afford their training.
2. Agree to maintain the pace of the program throughout each year of study, completing each semester with competency.
3. Agree to contribute their services during in-house training periods, which could include preparation of classroom, running the FICAM.tv switchboard or other functions as directed by the FICAM staff.

*Failure to meet these standards will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

2. A Personal Financial Statement
