Attention Dynamics Training Program
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
Students will gain a deeper understanding as to the distressing influences that can cause children to become inattentive, fidgety, overly impulsive, uncooperative, disorganized, uninterested, off task and/or oppositional. Students will learn about the Attention Dynamics thesis which identifies the significant societal shifts that have cultivated an easily distracted, physically disconnected and emotionally bereft population. Through educational training, coaching, role playing, mentoring and hands-on experience, students will become competent to help others become more motivated, on-task, and self-managed. Graduates will be competent to help students and adults communicate better, make more connecting choices and have the ability to form more satisfying relationships at school, home, and work. An Attention Dynamics Trainer can implement proven protocols for children and adults which help them become relaxed, focused and more alive to live healthier, happier, non-medication laden lives.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This program is designed to provide training in Complementary and Alternative Medicine therapies that is specifically tailored for helping children or adults. Trainees will learn skills for teaching adults how to get in synch with both their inner child and their children in home and at school. They will also learn adult management and parenting techniques which include new models for feeling safe and connected while avoiding power struggles or external control. These techniques will be taught as specialized exercise protocols and structured play to reconnect adults and children to their core. Trainees will learn how to help others learn to focus and how to meditate. The program teaches the trainees how to impart this knowledge, teach relaxation techniques to individuals and their families, create parent/child re-connections, ability development for better relations, success strategies, making choices, and a guided inner journey that uncovers the core issues that have brought not only the child but the family to the place of disorder.
Upon completion of the program the student will receive a diploma. Besides FICAM there is no governing body that certifies or licenses the successful completer. DISCLOSURE: By successful completion the graduate can become a Attention Dynamics Trainer. Students may begin working in their field of training as soon as diploma is received
